'I'm still alive' — Veteran Nollywood actor Ajasa debunks viral de@th rumours

Veteran Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa, popularly known for his famous line "Ta lo pa chief?", has dismissed viral reports claiming he is dead.

The false reports began circulating after an obituary poster announcing the actor's alleged death surfaced on social media, sparking concern among fans.

Reacting in a video shared on Instagram, Ajasa reassured fans that he is alive and in good health.

"I'm still much alive in good health."

The actor also condemned those spreading the false news, calling out blogs and social media platforms responsible for circulating the fake obituary.

"To everyone posting my obituary around, I'm saying back to the sender to you and your family."

He went on to reassure his supporters both in Nigeria and abroad that there was nothing wrong with him.

"Good day everyone, my name still remains Owolabi Ajasa, your Nollywood police officer. I want to tell all my fans both in Nigeria and abroad that I'm still much alive. I'm alive, hale and hearty. There's nothing wrong with me."
